At TLS, we wish to embark students of all ages on a beautiful journey of learning a language beyond the conventional education process. Through a combination of oriental and occidental teaching methods, we help you achieve your language goals.
Be it a toddler getting introduced to a language, an adult traveling to a foreign country or even a student who wants to pursue a degree in a foreign language, we offer varied certified courses for education, work or recreational purposes.
With an experience of 8 years in teaching, Ms. Ketaki Velankar started TLS in 2021.
Intrigued by linguistics from a young age, Ketaki pursued a BA major in French, MA in French Translation, M. Phil in French Linguistics, and B2 in Spanish. During her education, she developed a passion for teaching and started teaching part-time at a reputed institute in Mumbai, along with personal tuition. She went on to work as a part-time teacher at Pune University and SP college after completing her education. She believes that teaching is an art, and it must be fun and interactive. After completing her Teacher's Training Program in 'How to teach French as a foreign language' at Montreal University, Canada, she conducted a teacher's training program at the foreign language department of Pune University.
Under the University of Pune, she has also worked on subtitling two Bollywood films, Pyaasa and Gulabjam, that were projected in Montpellier, France.
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) describes the achievements of learners of European languages through six reference levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.These exams focus on 4 aspects of a language: Speaking, Writing, Oral comprehension and Written comprehension.

Anuja is Faculty for French language at The Language Studio. She has completed her MA in French Language and has more than 6 years of experience in teaching.
Parimita holds an Advanced Diploma in Japanese Language from SPPU and has achieved proficiency by clearing the JLPT N2 exam. She completed Teachers Training for Japanese Language course with the Japan Foundation, India. With extensive experience as an interpreter and translator, she has collaborated with various Japanese companies, showcasing her exceptional language skills.
Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in French at SPPU, Sonal brings nearly 6 years of experience as a French Language Facilitator for the Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme in an International Baccalaureate World School. She holds certifications at the B2 level and an Advanced Diploma in French from SPPU. Sonal has also enriched her cultural understanding through a study tour in the vibrant cities of Strasbourg and Montpellier.
A Spanish language teacher by profession, Srujana is an enthusiastic storyteller and a voice artist. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Spanish. She has been teaching at Pune University for the past 8 years.
Currently a student of Master FLE in a French university (universite de Poitiers), Aditi has completed DALF C1 and is a former student of The Language Studio. She has 2 years of teaching experience. (DELF A1, A2, IGCSE, IB)

I'm Dilisha Lokwani, a student of grade 12. I have been learning French from Ketaki madame for the past 1 and half years. Every class of hers is very informative and interesting. Her approach towards teaching any concept is very on-point yet elaborate. She shares many helpful tips and tricks and makes sure everybody understands everything clearly. She is always ready to solve doubts. Madame makes French so much more easier for us. It's a pleasure learning from Ketaki madame.
Ketaki is an excellent and experienced teacher. She is a calm and thoughtful tutor who really cares about her students. Her teaching methods are great and most importantly she never hesitate explaining things multiple times without getting stressed or angry. Very clear and concise. She has good command over the language and provides relevant content to practice the concepts. Overall very interactive sessions and I highly recommend her.
Well the search for best class to learn French ends here ! I am.learning French since 1 year. Ketaki ma'am always teaches with innovative teaching techniques like videos, PPT s, PDFs,etc. Ma'am is just amazing to teach for any age student, beginners and experience ones. Ma'am has very good knowledge and takes same efforts on her students too. Constant conversation in French helps in learning communication skills effectively. Her class is always combined with knowledge and fun !!
I love this class. Madame Velankar is a great teacher and she's really passionate about French. I do enjoy this course. I get to learn new things everyday and improve my knowledge about France, French culture, food etc. Everything is perfect, we have lots of fun and learn even more things, through listening to French music, audios and watching movies. The only downside is, we have to do it online. 😂😅
I completed by B1 studying under Ketaki Ma'm in Dec'21. Her style of teaching is really very engaging. We would have interactive sessions and a lot of discussions rather than just learning. She made us practice a lot of French speaking as well as tons of grammar. By the exam date I was well prepared for all the streams especially the explanation part of l'orale. We also had loads of fun watching French movies and during the fete de 14th Jul.
